4 Speed Conversion to 5 Speed 1978 C Chevrolet

I have a Chevy C20 1978, 427 manual transmission 4WD.

Question: The truck has 4 spd trans w/granny gear 17m 465452 / 3901131 trans # I believe out of 78 blazer, ins 66 chevy p/u w blazer frame engine 427 tall deck w/ 3.73 gears.  I would like to upgrade trans to taller gears instead of changing rear gears if possible or have to upgrade to 5 speed?

Answer: We can offer a NV4500 conversion, 5speed with all updates and 12 month factory warranty. The kit will include a Bell housing kit, shift stub, shift stick, rebuilt transmission. There may be some driveline mods to be made but the clutch linkage should mount up, we will need to know if it has a NP205 or NP203 if it is a NP205 there will be additional adapters required.  Shipping charges will be added.
