This series transmission fit Toyota Pickup, Tundra, Tacoma, T100 trucks, Cailica, Corona, Crown, MarkII, Cressida, Lexus and Supra. To assist you Toyota has placed and identification plate on the fire wall of your vehicle, in some cases close to the master cylinder. Check this identification plate for engine size and transmission model, critical when ordering a replacement transmission or repair parts.

The Toyota W Series 4 and 5 speed transmission was engineered and manufactured by Toyota. The W Series transmissions were supplied in two different configurations:

Cast iron case, end loaded with aluminum extension housing.

Aluminum case, end loaded with six main bearings (5 speed), a 7 bolt front bearing retainer and a 6 bolt shifter. 1993 model years and later have synchronized reverse.
