I have a F350 2004 6.0L 4WDQuestion:  Why won't a 2008 to 10 6.4 zf6 work in a 2003 to 2007 6.0? I have asked and looked n all I can find out is they will bolt up… also do 7.3s have the same bolt pattern on trans as 6.0 n 6.4? Just curiousAnswer:   The 6.0l and the 6.4L use a different input shaft and output shaft so they are not compatibleThe 7.3L is a different bolt pattern.
