I have a 1997 Chevrolet 1/2 ton 2WD Pickup Truck.Question:  Will a NV3500 transmission out of a 98 chevy s10 work in my 97 chevy half ton there both nv3500 transmissions and there both 2 wheel drive.Answer:   They will not, the rear output shaft is different and the gear ratios are different so they will not interchange as a whole unit nor will the internal parts interchange.  You can see the rebuilt transmission and parts we offer for the NV3500 on our site.
