I have a 1996 Ford Ranger 2WDQuestion:  I need torque settings(bolt)for entire transmission?Answer: This is a M5R1 transmission we recommend the following torque specifications:

• Retainer for front trans shaft bolts: 12-16 ft-lbs these are the 10mm bolts for the front retainer and should also include the oil trough 10mm bolt and the rev lever 10mm bolt

• All 12mm bolts would be 29 – 33 ft lbs
