Ford Mustang T45 Transmission Shifting Problems

I have a 4.6L Mustang GT 1998 with the T45.Question: The Mustang has 150,000 miles on it and the T45 is not shifting very smooth. I would like information on a rebuild kit.Answer:  Based on our experience the problem you describe with the T45 5 speed  is typically caused by bearing and syncro ring wear.We recommend the following parts to overhaul your T45 transmission:

  • Bearing Rebuild kit T45 with 4.6L engine order our part number MWT-250WS your cost $370.87 plus S&H.
